 Abstract:  The collection consists of a page of the Bulletin and Scots Pictorial, a Scottish newspaper, dated August 14, 1944, which contains a report by Roman Karmen, a well-known Soviet correspondent and documentary filmmaker, of his visit to the German concentration camp of Maidenek. In the report, Karmen describes the horrors that he encountered there after the camp was liberated by the Russian army.
